The foundation hosts an annual fundraising luncheon to support our goals of education, scholarship and research.

- Robert Ballard (explorer who discovered the Titanic)
- Harrison Schmidt (first geologist to walk the moon on an Apollo mission)
- Sean Gulick (reseacrcher who drilled a core into the Cretaceous - Paleogene Chicxulub meteor impact)
- Jason Osborne (researcher who dives the black water swamps of the east coast searching for whale and megalodon fossils)
- Neil Bockoven (former ExxonMobil geologist and author who studies early moder humans)
